Today was the big trip to Hobart early in the morning for our (Sooki and I) NOVA interview. NOVA? I hear you ask. Well basically it teaching English in Japan. Sooki and I looked at it as a cool and interesting oppotunity to see Japan. I was all excited but then I got told some horror stories and have been researching the company for a week and a half before the interview. So we got up at 6:30am and drove down to Hobart’s Ridges Hotel. At 9:30 was the introduction session, then a grammar test. Then we got allocated one on one interview times. Our were after 2pm, so when the intro and test stuff finished at 11am. Sooki and I went into town for lunch and so she could shop.

Hobart (well Tasmania) today… My god was it cold, it even hailed. I was walking around in my nice new suit and was one big goose-bump. We had sushi for lunch at the sushi train. It was so yummy. I love sushi, I need to improve my sushi making skills this summer. I know a lot of my friends wont mind that :-) After Lunch, Sooki needed her manatory Morning Glory stop off, for another plush toy. This time a mashi-marro (spelling). Then back to the interviews.

So I got the woman interviewer, Sooki got the man (there were only 2 people). I had the usual question, no prob answering them. Then I had to read a lesson out, piece of piss. After that I got my turn to answer questions. I grilled her with 45 minutes of questions (I wrote out a big page of them). All in all I got them answered, even the questions about NOVA being arseholes, etc. I only got one passed to the keeper.

Overall fairly informative, but I will say no if they say I can go. Why? Well it going to cost ME, $5000 aprox before I go. I find that a bit steep when they are employing us to go there. They don’t even pay for the airtickets etc. Fuck that! I not putting myself into a position where they can screw me over because I am indebt to get there. There is way more to the story, but I can’t be bother writing about it. Let it say I have learnt a good deal about Japanese labor laws in the last 2 weeks.

So we cruised home, via my parents for tea. Later Mr. Ben Jorden called up to see if I was up for beer drinking, and he was supplying the beer. I couldn’t refuse. So we drank and I showed him Ninja Scroll TV, Excel Saga, Heat Guy J, Sonic the Hedgehog TV. He also told us the big news of Lindsey is up the duff and on purpose. There will be a little Jorden in April. CONGRATS guys, but I am alittle scared. I can’t imagine a little Jorden… but I’ll see one soon.

Well got to bed at 3am and my head swims. Nite all!

Well yesterday was fun. I got down and dirty into the ELC site and feel like the hole that I have dug is almost to china. Yes the long road is almost at an end, but that’s not to say it is. It still need changes and then it needs approval from the big boss Paul. I also have to get more done on the international site.

Toon’s Birthday today, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOON! He prob won’t read this anyway. He is off to Sydney on a Harvey Norman junket as of 4pm. Toon in the big smoke, it is a scary concept.

Well I better pack up my stuff and go to Lauch’s once this stupid site finishes uploading. I really need to kull some of it. A 30 meg website is HUGE! It is mainly all the stupid pdf brochures and quicktime vr stuff that makes it that big.

Rent day today, and don’t I just love giving money to a guy who hasn’t come over yet to FIX THE F#*KING TAP AND FAN… I would do it if it didn’t cost me money. He hasn’t payed me back for the door or the tap, so bugger it. If I get a job then after christmas I might thinking about moving.

Come on Dreamweaver, it ain’t that hard!

I have gone silly getting audio books as of late. I love audio books, I can’t sleep without them. I have tinitus, (ringing in the ears) so I need noise to sleep and over the years audio books have become my best friends. I constantly need more though, and I would love to subscribe to audible.com but I can’t afforded it (one of the thing high on my list when I get a job).

Ummm.. now it is uploading the vr stuff, a complete wank if you ask me, vr that is.

I better start applying for more jobs, There are some in the paper on Saturday I could most likely go for. I have to apply for 7 jobs, count them SEVEN jobs a fortnight because I am a graduate. Help if there where jobs to apply for, which are not cold-calling etc. For christ sake I am all for getting a job, do you think I got this degree for my health, but SEVEN! I’ll start applying at centrelink for a job just to give them more paperwork.

Lauch says that my blog is boring, but I don’t care. It isn’t for him anyway, its for me. SO SCREW YOU HIPPY! Now I feel much better.

YIPEE dreamweaver finished. Later imaginary readers.

Today was fair normal. finished sorting my rock genre on itunes. Record some audio books from tape to mp3. Watched the second harry potter movie, clean up the house and caught up with my blog. Ben and Lindsy (spelling) came over for a beer and a chat. Oli-chan (Olivia Swan) came over to see how her logo is going and I sat on my arse.

Nothing enlightening….
