Went to Mole Creek today to show Yuki some of our wildlife. Was lots of fun except my car is being a bitch. It’s burning oil like an Iraqi in Kuwait (ok, sorry about the bad metaphor). I have to keep topping it up. Looks like it is another expense that I can’t afford. Arrrrrrrr…. ho well after Wednesday I don’t think it will be getting much use again.

I wrote an email to the Wilderness Society asking them about their rude people in the streets. Ok they may not be all rude, but this guy centainly was. All I asked for was some more info, as I didn’t have the time on the spot to go thought with it with him. He got all high and mighty and told me: “If you don’t have the time, then you don’t have the passion”. Not great marketing on their behalf, he could have blown a multi-million donation. Lucky it was only me. So I am waiting for their reply, hopefully it was constructive critizism for them.

Kittens are looking much better…

Had a weird thought today, it goes something like this:

If every person in the world was considered a God to some unseen follows that follow our emotions, will and dictates their lives by that. And our life-time is many generations of their species. Imaging plotting a time line of events of how their universe works. Examle (very simple):

1. Were Born - They come into being (ie Big Bang)
2. We Grow - They grow and multiply
3. We start thinging for ourselves slowly - They start to become intelligent beings (cave man time)
4. We start to get opinions - They start orginising themselves
5. Teenage years - They start to have wars etc
6. We become an adult - They mature into a fully evolved state of mind which is dictated by how we think
7. We grow old - They start dying out
8. We die - The big bang happens again

Imagine if when we argue with someone, they wage war on someone elses community? So many interesting things could be made of this idea. So are we goes to some nation of beings, or are we beings created to do what our unseen host tells us… Arr hell my head hurts…

Sorta doesn’t make sense, but it was a weird thought I had to write down. Make an interesting basis for a book or roleplaying game.

Yesterday the cats went for their “nip n’ tuck” at the vet. They came back very sore (wouldn’t you) and very dopey. Little Yumi look like half that cat she used to be. Very sad, but Wolf seems to be coping fairly well. He almost back in action but being alittle tender in the backend.

Friday was an all over the place day. Firstly I took the cats to the vet, then Yuki to uni (that rhymes). After that I quickly went to town and saw Renton about his CD-Rom project (very exciting). Then quickly back home and up to Factory Blinds to look at their computers. That was a nightmare as I guessed it would be. Finally convinced Gary to let me take the computers home next weekend and to start from scratch. They really need it too. After that back home to wait for the repair man to fix the washing machine. That turned out to be a 2 minute laugh. He just looked at the bit of form and pulled it out and exclaimed, “Fixed”. Then promptly walked out of the house. Glad it was under warrenty, as I guess that would be about $50 normally. Went Sooki got home, we went and picked up the cats.

Friday night was spent if front of the TV and then to Redz to see Fregie, a UK DJ play. It was interesting to go out to a club for the first time in like 2 years. Things haven’t changed much, still to same old boring crowd, with the same old boring music. Fregie was very cool to watch, but his music really didn’t interest me. Matty Carswell in the front room was more my style. Actually he was going off, pitty not many people where dancing. So we left around 3:30am and headed home, with Yuki and Sooki completely stuffed from dancing. I was very happy to see my beautiful Sooki out and enjoying herself. As Yuki would say: “It makes me very happy”.

Slept to 11am and got up to goto Beauty Point and the Platapus Exhibition. God that suxed, one word of advice… don’t go, really, don’t. They have spent more money on the foyer than the attraction. While the Platapus’ where cool and all, the rest was uterly shit. I felt embarassed to take Yuki there and ask him to pay his admission fee. Never again. That being said, we did have lunch at Rosesvears Estate which was very nice, so that sorta made up for it.

So tonight we are chilling at home, just watched a cool cheezy Japanese Sci-Fi action flick called “Returner”. Not the greatest film, but really fun to watch and switch off for a while. Plus some of the cgi designs where fairly cool.

Yuki leaves us this Wednesday to go back to Nippon (Japan to all the uneducated or us). Has been fun and frustrating at the same time. TIme to save up and crash at his house for a month… hehe.

Tomorrow is a road trip to Mole Creek and other places. But I need some sleep before then.

Adios Amegios.
