Today Lauch and I fill up my fish tank to see if it was still water tight and also to clean it out. I am glad to say it still is. Looking at getting it fixed up maybe this Friday into a tropical saltwater tank so I can put in pretty coral.

Good news on the Wireless Tasmania front, Elaia cafe are all go for the first hotspot. So I got to get my act together and get the machine and software setup ready to be put in. My interview with the NEIS panel went down very well last Thursday. They all thought the idea was great.. so hopefuly this week or early next week I should get the ‘nod’.

The cats have been adventuring outside over the last couple of days. Sooki has been giving them more freedom to roam as they seems to have settled in extremely well to the new house. They have been going “zoom” around the backyard, having the time of their lives. Yumi even scared off a neighbours cat at one stage. So it is time to upgrade the family with my own fishies and coral.

I have watched a few different films over the last week. Film Society had “In the heat of the night” as a classic on Wednesday. The print was so old that the colour was all but lost and had turned a red tint. After a while you didn’t notice. It was really a good film, that I can’t believe I have never seen before. The next films I watched with Chris, Lauch and my Sooki. They where Princess Blade and Cube 2: Hypercube. Princess Blade was the biggest disappointment that I have had in a long time. I searche high and low to see this film and I had the hunch that as soon as I watched it, it would all have been for naught, and I was so right. Cube 2 was good thou, and that made up for to boring piece of crap that proceeded it (Princess Blade). Cube 2 was an adequate sequel to the great original film, but really didn’t progress it to far either. Cube Zero is in production so hopefully that will live up the great first film and give even more storyline. Last but not least I sat down and watched a film called “Happiness”. I know a few people have seen this film and didn’t like it because of the subject matter. I too found it distrubing and at the same time very funny. Not a film I would recommend to many, but personally I really enjoyed it. I wish America would make more films like this. I love the holiwood blockbuster like most but overall America has lost the way in making great films. That is why I rejoice to see such different and strange films that seep out form there once in a while and realised that not all American film makers are interested in the big $$$.

The deed is done. We have offically moved to Mowbray… insert gasps and screams here… Anyway, it has been a busy week of moving stuff from one house to the next. Lauch’s place (ok, our new place) looks a lot fuller then ever before. Tomorrow is the great clean up (by me alone for the most part). Still got boxes of stuff to sort out, the kitchen stuff is the problem atm. We have way to much of it, and with Lauch’s stuff.. we couuld run a commercial kitchen with this much stuff. My office stuff it also not sorted yet, waiting for the office to be clear at the beginning of April. So a little while until all is settled.

We (Sooki & I) also have brought an XBOX yesterday are much shopping around to get the best price. Also picked up the advance AV pack, allowing dolby digital and dts playback in games etc. Next step is the infamous modding procedure. This time should be better (better be better) than the last attempt on the PS2. So I have signed up for XBOX Live with the 2 month trail.

All the AV and computer equipment is set up and running, but still some tweaking to be done. We are running WDS wireless between Lauch’s and my airport base station, link both ends of the house together. Seems to be working fiarly well so far.

So far my head is swimming after all this moving. I need to get back to some normallity soon. Feels weird being in this house not as a guest. Hopefully that will fade soon. The cats seems to be happier already, Wolf especially.

The business plan has been in for a week and I have passed all necessary assesments. Next is my interview with the NEIS panel on the 25th at 12pm. ARRRRRR…. it is almost a reality, Wireless Tasmania will conquer all :-)

Waaaaahhhhhaaaaaa……

So far we have moved 90% of all the small stuff to Joffee St over the last two days. Only big funiture, computers, kitchen and AV equipment to go. After Tuesday’s Cool Shite Night the move will be full steam ahead. The house feels sorta strange not having much in it. The walls are bear, all my CD’s and DVD’s are not here. It feels so strange, but some how cleansing too. Big ups (as Subway would say) to Damien for helping moving. Also big ups to all that have offered to help.

I have to finish my draft of my business plan before 9am tomorrow, but here I am typing my blog. I have a meeting with my protential first wireless client tomorrow… fingers crossed.

One thing I am going to miss for a while is the XBOX… my god, I’ll miss a Microsoft product. Shame on me! I love using it for a DivX playback unit, etc. Best solution so far for video playback, after the necessary modifications.

Ummmm… Katie Homles breasts where just on TV… now I understand peoples attraction…. anyway back to what I saying.

Microsoft…. I won’t start… just let it be known that the XBOX is good with the required changes.

So moving to the burgs is almost complete, and I was supprised at how much stuff we don’t have.. I thought we had heaps.. well we do, but most of it fits into one room at Lauch’s. We have a fair bit of big funiture, so I guess that is where the room goes.

Toon got some more games today. Prince of Persia looks way cool. Games are starting to take my interest again. ARRRRR.. but I don’t have the time to play them. I have a week to finish Rainbow Six 3 before we move out completely.. if not less. I must finish the game, damn it!

Anyway better do this Business Plan thingy…

NARF & ZORT & DOOM to all!
