It Sunday, and what have I completed this weekend… bugger all… almost.

I have been working on the hotspot software. Heaps more the be done, but getting there. Damien tested it out today on a windows laptop. Worked a treat.

Yesterday, Lauch and I (well not much of me) setup with the assistance from Baton our connection to Tas Wireless gird. Way cool, lots of stuff to share and download, etc. I might invest in a webcam and broadcast the fishes :-)

Watched “Weicome to the Jungle” last night and found it to be really fun movie. The Rock even made an adequate acting job, it was good mindless fun.

Been playing XIII a bit and really getting into the storyline. Heaps of fun.

On Fri night was had a small xbox lan with Damien, Frank, Sooki, Hannah, Sam and I. PLayed some Ghost Recon and I think I might imvest in it after I finish the games I have already.

Went on a mission today to get back my Dune boxset from Trent. Mission was successful.

Geez, my blogs are boring.

Another huge week of everyting and nothing has happened.

1st - Lexonline (Alexia) moved to Thailand on Saturday. Sooki and I braved the Launceston Airport to say farewell and goodluck to the new traveller. I felt green with envy as she boarded the plane. But I have given a task of looking after Lauch and to keep him out of trouble. Should be too hard… i think…. (famous last words).

2nd - Software writing is a happening for wireless hotspot. I have been learning lots about the inner workings of linux (well not really, just some aspects of it). Hopefully by the end of today or tomorrow, world domination will become more of a reality.

3rd - (Cool) Shite on the Tube had it’s Easter marathon… and that was fun and a little draining. Watched Matchstick men and quite enjoyed it and the next day watched Cypher and loved it to bits.

4th - Chris had his 31st birthday (after we farewelled Alexia) and had a nice meal at Cafe Elaia and meet some new and interesting people.

5th - F-ing VIRUSES! I really am hating this Microsoft standard vulnerability thingy. I think Micro$loth make these viruses themselves so they can charge people for the service packs and make unregistered users think twice about using their OS. I am liking the money I am getting payed to fix clients computers, but I really hate this sort of work. I just want to do what I was original hired to do.

6th - FISHIES! we (Lauch & I) transfered his saltwater tank into mine and now there are fishies swimming around in my tank. Looks way cool, but lots of work to be done.

7th - Finished Brute Force on XBOX. Was a fun game which wasted my time adequately. Brought a 3 pack of games on the weekend. They are Splinter Cell, Rainbow 6 - 3 and XIII. The first two I have already played, but want to finish. XIII is the new one and I am loving it.

“I’ve got the paper…” or more to the that fact, “I’ve signed the papers…” in a silly Tony Martin voice (you need to have watch the Late Show to get that one).

That’s right I have commited myself to 12 months of self slavery as a NEIS startup. The papers where signed yesterday and I meet my mentor. Today I registered my business name: “Wireless Tasmania”, and finally got my insurance quotes.

Insurance quotes… my god, I feel that the first brick wall has been put up and I only have a spoon to break it down with (ie. my very lackluster bank balance). The biggest problem is that I have to have it as part of my aggreement with the Federal government. So somehow I am going to have to wangle my way around it by May 22nd.

Spent most of today getting my stuff together. Finishing off Film Society minutes and getting quotes, etc.

I also nominate today as Pink Floyd day. I thought that this morning I would put on some Floyd to chill to. So I selected it on itunes on my computer and hit play. I forgot that I had 13 albums, or 12 hours 51 minutes worth. So it has been all chilled out and trippy tunes day.
