A Line Dropped By A Ghost

Last night I discovered that not one but two harddrives in my possession had failed. Tey both where old 3 gig drives. One was my development drive I borrowed from Lauch and the other was from a client. Lucky the dev drive was backed up and the client drive wasn’t important. Just a bit annoying as I needed to use my dev drive to get another new drive up and running. So I am typeing this blog at the first hotspot (Elaia Cafe) while waiting for the backup to copy thought thw wireless network to my laptop (Notice I have used a lot of key words there - Google take notice).

Well looks like has finished. Back to work time.

Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex

Ho my, I thought I loved this series, and I had not finished watching it. Last night I finished watching it and I got to say it has just become one of my all time favs, and not just because it is GITS. By the end of the first session it became one of the most tense and emotional anime’s I have ever seen. The anime is top-notch all the way to the last episode. The story justs get better and better. The action is better than most big budget holliwood action flicks. It is just great! Now I need to start watching season 2 and save up and buy the DTS DVD’s. My only crtizim is that some of the supporting characters in section 9 could have had a bit more of a role and fleshed out a bit (ie. Paz and Bumma).

PIGAIR! (pronounced PIGAR! with much vigour).

I mind and body have deserted me… After a couple of weeks of going flatout on work, yesterday and today my mind feel empty and my body tired. Thos 12 to 18 hour days will do that for ya. I still have lots of work to do, just need to take a breather and slow down. I am learning at an huge rate of knots to get these jobs done. I think i might have hit the limit of my brain for the moment, I think I need to make a backup (nerdy speak).

So what is PIGAR!?

I was thinking in my deluded over worked head that if I owned an airline, I would call it PIGAIR, just so I can say “Pig’s do fly”. I can see a whole marketing plan and everything. Maybe when I make my first billion, I’ll do a Richard Barnincan (spelling) and set up a discount airline and stock it with cute stewardess. Or maybe not. I still think it is funny though. PIGAR!

I feel like going to Hobart with Toni and my beautiful Sooki-chan, but I know I will want to work. I feel sorta empty when I don’t work. That is really bad, and I have work in Hobart to do for some clients, which means I wouldn’t be with Tiarne… I’ll have a bit of a think about it before making my mind up. Yes I know there is more to life than work… just the way I am.

Well going to get lunch early, so I can get motivated to do a e-commerce website quote.

Also second hotspot will be up and running this Monday (after I install it) at Java Bar next to Sports Girl in Launceston. Wireless Tasmania is on the move!
