A Line Dropped By A Ghost

An interesting movie review site that I randomly found.

TV a la digital is in the house.

I have been helping one of my clients/contractor improve his network system and installed Mandrake Linux on his laptop (he’s request) as a favour (I was also curious about the OS anyway) and was rewarded with a $300 new digital set top box (He is a wholesalers of them).

So another bit of equipment added to the home theatre rack and finally crystal clear reception. Pitty the only thing on tv at the moment is the stupid olyimpics.

Anyway, I am really digging the new stargate series, just so you know.

On another Linux note, I am struggling to get a driver to compile to use a Satelite network card to work, but I will provail!

When it rains it pours.. that how then saying goes.

The last two weeks have been insane. Wireless Tasmania’s has it first hotspot installed in Elaia Cafe Charles Street and is no it’s beta trial (email me if you want a free 60min card). Going from that, I have been getting job calls left right and centre about the software I wrote and other projects people want. In the space of two weeks I have gone from bumming around and getting my business shit together, too… ARRRRRRR to much work! Not that i am complaining about it, just caught me unawares.

So on the work front, everything looks busy, but good.

On the fishies front, everything is back to normal too.. with a some additions.

Jill (Lauch’s Mum) brought me a fish for looking after Shimi (their dog) and also for a late sortof birthday present. His name is Butters (After the South Park character) and he is a Foxface Rabbitfish, like Zep but younger and smaller. He is doing well, I am just making the adjustment to his personallity over Zep.

I have also added a few new guys myself. Today I added another Flamehawk (Like Que-Te) and I think I will name him Rover. I also brought two Coral Striped Catfish, and I think I will name them Micky and Mallory as in the characters from Natural Born Killers but these guys aren’t aggreesive thou. These guys look cool and swim in schools, but I don’t think I have the room to put more in.

So the tank is back up and going strong. I think I will add two more fish into this tank, a Tang and a Flame Dwarf Angel and a few moe corals and that will be the tank. Then onto my next project… a predator tank with a shark or something cool like that. That can wait for the momment thou.

Well back to learning and writing more software… but loving it
