Well I have gone and done it.. I bought my first accounting package software. Wasn’t going to do that, but it was cheap and I need something my accountant can use. So this weekend is going to be filled with formating Mr Macinslosh, setting up a Ghost-Sat box (my satellite solution for regional broadband internet), reading my accounting software manual and house work, peppered with a movie or two. Sounds fun, right?
On another note I got a phone call last night while I was at Film Society from a client of mine. First thing came to my head is, “Ho crap, what did I stuff up or forget to fix now…”, but instead it was a big thankyou message for helping him out so much. Gotta love that. I have even kept the message on my message bank to remind myself that sometime it does go right. People should leave messages like that all the time
Watched “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow” last Tuesday. Was retro-sci-fi-cheezy-cool. Wasn’t the best in plot or acting or anything, but damn it was fun and pretty to watch. Might get a crew together to goto the C-Max to see this film when it comes out. If you loved 1950 style sci-fi noir stuff, even just to graphic format.. then this movie is for you.
Anyway, time to pickup the Sooki from work.
