• clean fish tanks (well got Daniel from Prospect Aquirms to do that part)
• brought new fish (they are so cool)
• brought laptop lock, blank dvd and cd’s, a couple of really cheap dvd’s
• Did wireless tas work
• Some Launceston Film Society work
• Watch some tv
• Kill some aeanomies (not sad) and acidently a pistol shimp (very sad)
• Troubleshoot Supanova website
• and other stuff

To be done before 9:30 am:

• Watch and dry clothes for Sydney
• Backup mac hard drive
• Wash dishes up
• Write out feeding instructions for Bro and Ash
• Pack bags
• Sleep

If you have any knowledge of popular culture of any sort be it film, tv, manga, anime, cosplay, anything at all, head over to the wiki and start adding to the knowledge base.

What been happening is fairly big. I am now working for myself fulltime. My uni contract finished, they where well impressed but no more work for the moment.

I have way to much work and yet I still piss fart around.

Podcasting is looking like becoming a big part of my business life. I have secured (Cool) Shite on the Tube to be the official podcasters for Supanova Sydney 2005. I have also started the Webtraining.com.au podcast. There is two more in the works and a very big interest in a couple more. More on that later.

Everything is going fast, but I now have a very big goal to achieve and the vision to do it for once. Finally I think I can get something truely great off the ground and ride it as a career for a long time to come.

My Gripe

If you have been listening to podcasts, then you would have heard the name Adam Curry. Adam is considered one of the founders of Podcasting and is very active in the scene. He is a busy man with many things on his plate. He produces three shows I know of and only 2 of them are podcasts. His personal podcast: the daily sourcecode, The new Podfinder cast for iTunes and the radio show for Seious (spelling) Satellite radio in USA. My gripe is with Adam, he won’t read this, or even care. But fuck it, I need to write it down somewhere. Adam is a rude prick and has big blinkers on. I have emailed him promos and standard email and I realise that he more likely than not get shitloads every day, but it doesn’t excuse him not doing a one line reply say thanks for the email, etc. Really, I would be happy if I got an automated response to start with to say my mail has been recieved. Why does this erk me so.. well because I spent a shitload of time on our promo and didn’t even get so much as a thanks for sending it. I basically sent it to a black hole. The stupid thing is, I did another one and send it with the same response, ie NOTHING. Then you start to see faviourtism on Adam’s behalf coming in on his shows with the same promo’s for the same people he has meantion a heap of times. I don’t care that he didn’t play my promo, but no response to people who put some hard hours in is just plain rude, and I know other people that have the same issue. I am going to record another promo (why.. i don’t know) and bag the shit out of Adam and his useless email system and see if that gets some response. I am going to give it to all the “indy” podcasters out there that are also not feeling any love.

So to the Podfather as they call him… ANSWER YOUR FUCKING EMAIL.

The beautiful thing about it was that the podcasting community knew about it in advance, but not the specifics. ie. which sites and when the program was getting released.

Some would call it a brilliant software innovation, but I call it a virus…

And in other news: Our podcast is getting royal downloaded and Hava.nl is happily holding up… suckers!
